Northumberland Walks

You are spoilt for choice with walking routes in and around the Northumberland National Park.  Walking is one of the best ways to discover the fantastic views and history of Northumberland.

A recommended app and website is View Ranger.  Using this app you can find countless walks in and around Northumberland.

Here are our favourites:

Otterburn Hall Estate

If you fancy a wander around the grounds after breakfast or before dinner? This  1 mile route is just for you.  It can get muddy in winter so make sure you have suitable footwear.

Otterburn Village Trail

You don’t have to go far for this route.  Explore Otterburn when walking  this 5km route.

Hareshaw Linn

Take a magical walk and cross at least six bridges to get to your destination. Hareshaw Linn is approximately 7mile away in Bellingham.

Linhope Spout

Another fantastic waterfall. Not too far from The Coach House.

Kielder Waterside

Ther are many wonderful walks around Kielder Water.

Falstone

A lovely little ramble around dramatic riverbanks and an old railway line.

Elsdon

Explore the rich history of Elsdon on a gentle circular walk with panoramic views over the surrounding moors.
